What's for Dinner, Thurs., June 7, 2018

Appetizer: flatbread topped with zucchini slice, which is sauteed. On top of that, a slice of Alaska sockeye salmon. Cream cheese and capers on top .

Main course: Thin slice of veal layered with prosciutto, porchetta, and provolone. Sage leaves top the provolone.

Swiss chard (from garden) sauteed with garlic, olive oil, and pine nuts. Lots of toasted pine nuts.

Corn cut from the cob and mixed with sliced zucchini with butter.

Dessert: tapioca pudding with Walker shortbread cookie. Earl Grey tea.

...or is it chop suey...???

Anyway, it's the one with the oyster sauce / chix stock / corn starch slurry as the "gravy". Lots of fresh veggies and bean sprouts, all over crunchy noodles.

aka "lunch counter" style.

Sauce over noodles. Threw some fresh, chopped asparagus in with the noodles to blanch.
Baguette with garlic butter dip.

With sugar snap peas, yellow and red bell peppers, green beans and yellow squash.

Side of cold cucumbers drizzled with olive oil and black pepper.

Dessert will be a sliced hill country peach!
