What's for Dinner, Mon., July 2, 2018

Chicken salad with tossed greens. Has toasted pine nuts over the top. Dressing is seasoned with cilantro, mayo, and sriracha. Elderberry kombucha tea.

Still hotter 'n Hades here. Glad I have to work in an air-conditioned classroom tonight.

FLFC asked for them so we decided he wouldn't have all the fun.

So,

Sliders - through the garden
Coleslaw
Oven Fries (too hot for that oven, but I lost that discussion)

FLFC is so funny. His nose is up in the air and quivering. He is constantly checking if they are done. His appetite is so stimulated he was eating the dry food he usually ignores.

Only three paws for the burger because he got no cheese. I tell him cheese is too salty for him but he is not believing that. No paws for the slaw after a sniff..

Before they moved, I used to take my neighbor's golden lab to McD's drive through. That was the biggest deal, just the biggest deal ever!

You have to love that enthusiasm.

It's too hot to cook. Just basic... iceberg, tomatoes and cucumbers with a light vinaigrette. I have some baby swiss cheese that I sliced up with some triscuits.

Cold ice tea and a slice of cold watermelon later.
