What's for Dinner, Fri., July 20, 2018

Starting off with watermelon soup. It also has feta cheese, creme fraiche, and walnuts in it.

Next up is a 3-4 oz.piece of smoked salmon served with horseradish cream and croutons. Accompanied by a stack of sliced cucumbers and red onion.

Shrimp with garlic sauce.

Dessert: red grapes, pear, and brie.

Elk burgers on the charcoal grill. Smoked sweet potato chips on the Traeger. Sliced beef steak tomatoes. Desert will be a Nanking cherry margarita. TGIF!

no salad, we're too lazy

FLFC is in a better mood this evening. He had some beef that was cooked for the spaghetti sauce. He is discussing with me the need for a second bacon flavored treat. I made him wait and be good and he agrees that it tastes better that way. He is very gentle, almost dainty taking the treat from me. He then rushes into the living room to enjoy the treat on the rug. He says three paws up for the beef and four, yes four for the bacon treat and I must have one more bacon treat. I really, really, really must have one more.
