I guess Christmas decorations won't be far behind!

A couple years ago I remember needing to buy a swimsuit in August and the stores didn't have them, save for a couple on Clearance. Everything by Aug. 1 is sweaters and boots.

4. They used to have the common decency

To wait til August to put out the Halloween candy. Last year there was some Christmas stuff out in Sept. This was at the grocery store, they probably started even earlier at Target and Walmart (I rarely go to either.)
