Chopped vegetable salad, thinly sliced pork chops with apples, and pasta with ground pork and cilantro.

The salad has zucchini, green beans, red onion, garlic, tomato, cucumber. Norwegian crispbreads to go with. Used Gala apples for the pork chops.

Dessert: dark chocolate and raspberries.

1. Broiled veal chop with tomato/red onion relish.

Starting off with an Aperol Spritz and some blasted shishito peppers.

2. Chicken Caesar salad

I cut up the remains of the chicken I roasted last night and it will go on top of a bed of Romaine lettuce. Add some crushed smoked bacon, croutons, anchovies and the homemade dressing. I made a couple of small tomato plates with red onion and basil. Chocolates and an Italian red wine for dessert.

Did you know that a proper Caesar salad is supposed to have 13 croutons on it? One for each of the stabs Julius got that fateful Ides of March.

3. Cauliflower and Potato Soup with Goat Cheese

and rice.

4. We had chicken stir fry. I also have an apple crumble in the oven.

5. Taco Tuesday

Worked late so stopped off for street tacos, chips and salsa and a beer. Good beef steak ones. So much meat! I have leftovers for lunch. Woot!
