Old Fashion Peanut Butter Cookies

I had some peanut butter that had been hanging around for too long, so I decided to make a batch of peanut butter cookies. I looed in my 1960's Joy of Cooking for the recipe. So simple, such a good cookie; nice and "sandy".

The recipe makes a small batch and when they were done, I put them in a cookie tin. I noticed that the level of cookies has gone down, that explains my husband's frequent trips to the kitchen.

And it was published in the Sixties. I should have that recipe.
