Sometimes I cook for therapy. The eating part is fun also.

When you are angry or frustrated, get out the chopping and some vegetable and chop your anger and frustration away. Want to show love and compassion to someone, cook them up something good; soup, cookies, this could go on and on.

I keep a supply of empty containers so I can share what I cook with elderly home bound neighbors and family members in poor health.

Nutella is not an addiction. It is part of the food group. Well, I have actually turned over to Costco hazel nut spread but they are good for you. Particularly a big spoonfull in coffee.

You could smell the hot chocolatey crepes from blocks away.

When I got back to the US, I craved those things so badly, but it was before Nutella was widely imported (or manufactured here). I finally found a gourmet food store that brought it in and I swear for the next months ALL I wanted to eat was Nutella. I craved it first thing in the morning and throughout the day-- no other food even "sounded" good. Eventually, I managed to "quit" but probably gained 5-10 pounds before doing so.

Not too many years later, Costco started selling it in bulk and oh, boy... Now it is everywhere.

I haven't tried the Costco version but it seems that it has no trans fat and I'm not sure whether the regular Nutella still does or not.

Unfortunately, Nutella and moderation do not go hand in hand with me. LOL

But I want coffee at your house. You supply the sweetener and I'll bring the (Bailey's) Irish Cream and we can light and sweeten ourselves into comas!
