Pork stew. Baby arugula salad with toasted pine nuts and parmesan.
We were supposed to have this last night, but it wasn't done so we opted for the leftover chili.
Dessert: TJ's vanilla wafer cookie sandwiches. We put hazelnut cream in the middle to make the sandwich.
Blueberry ginger kombucha for me and sparkling water for the RG.

(4,604 posts)I just got back from the grocery store. Walmart (ugh) in an Uber, so I had to do one-stop shopping for a variety of items, including groceries. I need a nap after that adventure, lol!
Got a nice loaf of organic whole grain and seed bread, plus spinach and campari tomatoes, so it will be a tasty sandwich.
The good news: chocolate ice cream for dessert. I even got cones.

We had
Sirloin steak cut in strips and sauteed with Worcestershire and spices
Creamed spinach with goat cheese in the sauce
Boiled cabbage.
I'm having a mint tea, a cookie and possibly a mandarin orange a little later.

FLFC had steak and leftover chicken. He must have liked it because he didn't ask for his bacon/peanut butter flavored treat after. That is very unusual for him and certainly a four paws up rating.
I didn't notice when he first started doing it, but he now stands up on his hind legs to speak to me and to see things better. I think he has regained full strength.

I think I'll fix myself a Paloma for an after dinner drink - grapefruit juice, tequila and orange liqueur.
