Chorizos made in the slow cooker. Very tender!

1. I like the bags of mini peppers that my grocery has off and on

mojo marinaded boneless chicken breast sheet pan dinner with broccoli, onions and sweet potato. Decafe suntea with dinner, decafe thai chai tea with almond biscotti cookie while watching Godzilla DVDs later.

3. Chicken fajitas

Well seasoned chicken, onion, red and green bell peppers on flour tortillas

Spanish rice

Refried beans

accompaniments of lime wedges, sour cream, shredded Monterey Jack cheese

My son brought home some Penguin City Beer (brewed in Youngstown, Ohio!) so maybe I’ll try some of that, too.

Pan-fried asparagus with sweet spicy Tahini dressing, and steamed Bhutanese red rice with sliced almonds roasted in butter.

8. mesquite grilled steak

green chiles and salad. pecan sandies and blackberries for desert. steak was NY Strip - not my favorite cut but it was a very good one and my son cooked it perfectly.
