Al says he wants pancakes, so I guess I'll make them.

(I don't particularly care for a sweet brekkie. I had gastric bypass years ago and sugary foods leave me feeling yucky. But Al is totally in love w/ this Canadian maple syrup my folks gave us. I imagine when it runs out we won't be eating pancakes as often.)

Maybe some French toast--just to change things up a bit.

Food in another hour or so. Can't really think about food until I'm up for a while.

I take my coffee outside in a cup with a lid while I'm out with my dog.

From about fifty miles away. $1.66 per pint. Plus a bit of yogurt. Maybe a glass of V-8. Never drink coffee.

Just spent several weeks in Italy. Breakfasts there were very heavy on sweets. I'm now a bit heavier, too.

I usually have coffee and a banana or an orange. Second cup soon. Just got the big kid on the school bus, the 6-month-old is napping and the 4-year-old is watching YouTube Kids. I retired from my real job to be an (unpaid) nanny for my daughter. The kids have yogurt or toast for breakfast, formula for the little one.
