What's for Dinner, Sun., June 2 2019

The RG spatchcocked my chicken that I was going to put in the slow cooker. He browned it in a cast iron skillet, then is roasting it. He covered it with thyme, basil, and garlic.

Along with it will be a chopped vegetable salad made up of red, yellow, and green peppers, sliced zucchini, red onion, and carrot. Homemade vinaigrette.

For dessert, a little raspberry sorbet and vanilla pudding, served with toasted hazelnuts.

At least that's what I was told. My wife makes a great Italian wedding soup.

Was on sale. Grill potatoes (sliced potatoes and onions tossed with olive oil and grilled in an aluminum foil packet) and salad.

with a couple of boneless loin chops - which can be kinda dry and tasteless sauteed or whatever, but this way it was spicy and good, and spinach, carrots, turnip, mushrooms and cucumber for vegetables.

they made hamburger patties, but i like meatballs better. 1/2 A1 steak sauce/1 /2 ketchup, i add red wine too. also sliced onions. lots of onion. let it cook an hour or so. some like potatoes, some rice.
