1. equal amounts of cane sugar/plums. no need to peel. cook low til thick when dropped in cold water.

2. I haven't a 'receipt' to offer, but have you considered even a 'conserve'?

A friend of mine made them with some slivered almonds. I would also mb include minimal amount of cinnamon or pie spice?

My mother used to make plum butter but I don't think she used a recipe. It was so good. Kind of like a lighter version of apple butter.

6. I wish I had them! Maybe we will get some Santa Rosa plums later this summer.
