What's for Dinner, Fri., July 26, 2019

Fresh sockeye salmon tonight!

I'm making the salad: it has fresh peas, eggs, turkey bacon, red onion, and green pepper. It's a layered salad. On top is mayonnaise.

Dessert is strawberries, a little agave, balsamic and vinegar, and vanilla ice cream. If you've never tried strawberries with balsamic, you're in for a treat. This is one of my favorite summertime dishes.

My sister sent me a gift card, so off to Friendlee's we go.

For Dad, baked haddock (bread crumbs, lemon zest, dill, s & p, butter) rice pilaf w/ sautéed crimini mushrooms, steamed broccoli, and leftover salad.

sauteed Red Pepper, Garlic, Onion, and Sausage - a one-pan casserole mix with a side of lemon-peppered broccoli florets

Undecided about dessert - ate the last of the lemon pound cake last night - maybe I'll throw a batch of brownies in the oven.
