What's for Dinner, Fri., Aug. 16, 2019

I'm going to fire up the grill for the first time this summer and grill Italian sausage and barbecue pork ribs.

I have this new device I want to try: it's a grill mat.

I haven't had a chance to use it because the RG doesn't like grilling; he's gone, so this is my big opportunity.

Salad will be Asian coleslaw.

that's in the fridge, and if need be we can throw a frozen pizza in the oven later.

It has this great searing burner on the side... great for steak. I was worried I wasn't going to remember how to light it, but I got in on the first try.

get the kitchen hot. making sweet corn soon. at the bottom of the chicken breast out of the cast iron pot to get all the goo.
