Not too good. My eye sight isn't what it used to be. The turrets aren't really level and were hard to form.

Thanks for sharing. I am jealous of your baking skills. Never made a cake or baked in my life. My Mother didnt like baking. So she never taught me. One skill Im sorry I never learned.

(17,419 posts)On my screen it seems to be about its full size.
I marvel at the detail. It is something this klutz could not do.
Good luck at the fair.

(26,241 posts)I paid for my college text books working at a Baskin Robbins, decorating ice cream cakes. Still decorate a few celebration cakes for family members, from time to time, but NOTHING even approaching something that spectacular!

(51,436 posts)sugar modeling paste (fondant mixed with gum tragacanth). I removed some of their centers to reduce the weight. I'm still nervous they will smash down the towers.

(1,639 posts). . . You can't have your cake and eat it, too.
A young co-worker could not grasp the meaning of this expression. I tried to explain to no avail. This cake would have made an excellent example.
See how pretty this cake is? Now, once you've eaten it, you no longer have it to look at and admire.

(5,318 posts)It's a work of ART!
But honestly, a diabetic like me is drooling over that. Unobtainable, fortunately.
Some feedback from consumers of this artwork would be appreciated though.
(And I admire your patience, artistic skill in creating this masterpiece, and above all - thanks for sharing! . . . . me wanders off to wipe the drool off his face.)
