It's a vegetarian dinner for me tonight. I experimented further with my tomatillo salsa, so I'll have that with grilled cauliflower steaks. Finally got my first pepper out of the garden to add to my salsa, which also has coriander in it.
In addition, tossed green salad with grilled pears (can you tell I'm really into this grilling thing?). The pears are basted with honey and butter. The lettuce is purple and green, beautifully fresh, which I got from the farmer's market on Sat. It also has blue cheese in it and thyme sprigs on top.

oven fried "Spanish" potatoes, black beans
the beans could have had some corn and tomatoes added but son is the chef these days. he has really mastered his meat techniques, still needs a bit of work on the sides
