What's for Dinner, Fri., Sept. 20, 2019

Tossed green salad with chopped vegetables and chicken strips. Using red and yellow peppers, red onion, cucumber, celery, cherry tomatoes, and radishes. Craisins for a touch of tartness. My fave ranch dressing. Chinese noodles on the top for crunchiness.

Later on tonight, I'm making popcorn to munch on while I watch my fave true crime shows.

My son is coming into the city to spend the weekend with us and said he had a couple of lobster tails. We have two beautiful NY strip steaks so there's plenty for three of us.

I'll bake some potatoes and make some creamed spinach to go with the meats.

I'm not sure about dessert but we do have some orange sorbet in the freezer...

One of our favorite dishes. My husband always makes sure the components are in the house.

I brown the potatoes, then the sliced sausage. When the potatoes are done, add the apples and sauerkraut and let it steam. I throw in about a tablespoon of caraway seeds and some crushed red pepper flakes.
