What's for Dinner, Thurs., Oct. 10, 2019

The RG made a loaf of pate', zucchini sliced into rounds and sauteed with garlic, and tossed green salad with ruffly red lettuce.

For dessert, a slice of pecan pie. Very thin slice, I might add. A little gelato on top.

I think. Al's checking the tank on the grill to see if we have enough propane. I'll baste the bone-in thighs w/ my favorite mustard-based BBQ sauce.

Pouch potatoes, buttered beets, and steamed green beans.

I may make a batch of brownies for dessert.

on rice, spinach with a little sesame oil and tamari, and quick-pickled Persian cucumbers. Thursday is my extra hours day, so it was great to come home to my son having made this.

muffin...for dessert a brown pear (forget the name of them). We went to a healthy kind of restaurant for lunch and had Pad Thai...so hubs had the leftovers for dinner. Our daughter is at her boyfriend's house...so easy kind of dinner night. I was able to go back to the gym today after my four week stint with food poisoning...and the tests are back...it was E coli.
