Chicken francese and mashed potatoes that had been roasted first with garlic and seasonings.
Kale salad (my homegrown) with apples and dried cranberries. Toasted pignolis and crumbled goat cheese.
Dessert: the cheese balls that have had no-sugar apricot spread added to them. Hot chamomile to drink.

I'm finishing a recording session just north of Canal Street so the Landlady(!)-- who is crazy about food shopping in Chinatown-- will meet me in an hour or so and we'll go to one of our favorite joints for a delicious repast. I'm thinking egg foo young.
