What's for Dinner, Thurs., Dec. 26, 2019

Chicken cutlets, breaded, and baked in the oven with lemon slices on top.

Side dish: pappardelle with spicy tomato sauce.

Salad: chopped salad with red & green lettuce. I used only red or green ingredients for the vegetables (Christmas!).

Dessert: maybe we'll slice into that chocolate-covered apple, since we didn't have it last night.

I made ginger tea from grated ginger root.

meal in New Orleans, one of the best I've ever had. Turtle soup with sherry, escargots with puff pastry, Louisiana jumbo lump crabmeat spaghetti Fino, Grand Marnier Louisiana citrus creme brulee and bourbon spiked eggnog. Of course you have to save up for a year and starve yourself for days before but New Orleans food is well worth it.
