Pork sandwiches on brioche bread.
I made salad using baby arugula, thinly sliced apple, toasted almond, and parmesan.
Tried to buy dessert at Trader Joe's but they have changed so many things that I couldn't find the dessert I wanted. I bought some biscotti with different types of toppings or frosting on them. Really nothing I'm too excited about. We'll have that with ginger tea.

(21,988 posts)Dinner for two on Cale Cod.
Four raw oysters, four boiled jumbo shrimp, two stuffed Quahog clams (warmed), a small lobster tail split in half along with Boston Bib lettuce, sliced red onion, cherry tomatoes, baby carrots, black olives and artichoke hearts. Add on some garlic bread and lots of melted butter. Yummy!
Fresh fruit for dessert.

(35,616 posts)It actually was very good. I think the reason I liked it so much is the extra chocolate. It was an assortment package, some with salted pistachios on top of the chocolate, some with crushed peppermint candy or crushed chocolate cookies, others with chopped almonds, etc.
PJMcK, that seafood dinner sounds soooo good.

Nothing much to clean up
FLFC is absent from dinner, choosing slumber with TJ over my company. She has a late half shift to work tonight (actually tomorrow.)

(22,216 posts)I love this stuff. My recipe is from Weight Watchers and is only one point per serving at most.
Sometimes I add extra broth to thin it out and throw in some leftover rice.
Really nice on a cold evening.
Lots of vegetables
