2. I grow my own garlic and, let's just say that I have no fear of vampires.

I cook with it, and bruise and swallow down whole cloves as a form of preventative medicine. My grandfather used to chew them, before swallowing. I'm just not that hard core.

I whole-heartedly disagree.

Besides, it's an anti-inflammatory and w/ his arthritis, he should welcome it.

9. A neighbor of ours didn't know what a "clove" of garlic meant. She thought it was the whole bulb.

So she prepared a recipe that called for, IIRC, a dozen cloves of garlic. Something she prepared for company.
