2. Corn beef hash and Eggs

if there were something stronger in the house I'd go with that.

My kingdom for a vat of bourbon.

4. chamomile tea

sweetened with a little agave.

English muffins with olive oil "butter" and D'aria rose apricot preserves.

Oh, Miss Millie, I'd take you up on that beer but all we have here is Guinness Personally, I prefer Rolling Rock. Would it surprise you if I told you that elicits sneers here?

5. I just received my first jar of

D’aria rose apricot preserves. Ordered through Amazon. Delicious. Meanwhile, it will be waffles today. I need a change from the usual. My Scout (looks like a street dog, make that mutt) found another way out from under the fence. The ground is wet and perfect for clever dogs to escape. Alexander, my Great Pyrenees, watches and then comes to let me know she escaped again. As soon as possible, there is a new dog-proof fence in Scout’s future. Until then lugging big, really big, rocks is my outdoor activity.

6. Apple pie

We made an apple pie last night and I can't resist. It's a combination of tart and sweet apples.
