a Lebanese garlic sauce called Karam's. Great stuff, we use it on many things. Basically just garlic, lemon juice and olive oil. I had no idea it was a generic thing called Toum.

We'll look forward to trying out your recipe for it.

I adore this stuff! I can, and have, eaten it by the spoonfuls. I always ordered extra when we ate at Middle Eastern restaurants, and still never got enough.

But I hate it when they cut it with mashed potatoes, to cut down on the garlic flavor, I guess. What's the point of that?

I don't know why I never thought to look for a recipe online. I really appreciate your posting this.

I ate a powerful amount last night. Glad my bf loves garlic too! 3 heads of garlic made a little over 1 cup of sauce/dip. We grilled chicken breast. Yummy! Also, I stir fried some asparagus and at the end put in a big dollop of the Toum - good stuff!

A couple I know taught me one day when they had me over for dinner. I was mesmerized and dumbfounded by how these ingredients emulsify into this fluffy, mayonnaise like dip. She is from a farm in Iowa and he is from Lebanon and they make the perfect couple.
