What's for Dinner, Mon., June 1, 2020

A few slices of thinly sliced lamb with grilled vegetables over them. The grilled veggies are thinly sliced zucchini and tomatoes.

Broccoli rabe leaves and potatoes with olive oil and garlic.

Broccoli crunch salad.

Cannellinis, which were slow cooked with pork riblets. However, we are just having the cannellinis today.

Thinly sliced turnips, also grilled.

Dessert: chocolate chip ice cream sandwich.

I put a slab of pork ribs in the crockpot earlier along with Stubbs BBQ sauce. Before serving, I'll put it on the grill to char the meat.

Fresh corn on the cob wrapped in foil with butter, salt and pepper will be grilled, too.

The Landlady(!) is making her killer cole slaw to round out the feast.

Vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Next I took two egg yokes and added 1/4 cup of vegan parmigiana and added boiling water from pasta about a half a cup...saved more but didn't use it to make a carbonara sauce...added the egg yolk mixture and salmon to hot pasta and mixed it up. It was very good.
