Sushi and Chinese dumplings.

Dessert: I'm trying to do a low-calorie version of pineapple pretzel pie.

However, I'm not sure I can pull it off. A lot of obstacles on this one!

1. Pizza margherita

And the usual garden stuff - cucs and tomatoes.

2. Stuffed acorn squash

Stuffing is sausage, rice, onion, cheese and tomatoes, with even more cheese on top, for good measure.

And I bought an Angel Food Cake on special, at Kroger. I might pair it with some Neapolitan ice cream. Or, there are those home made blueberry scones that I should finish up. Who knows - maybe a bit of both.

3. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, roasted rutabagas

4. Broiled salmon

Garlic mashed taters
Garden green beans
Garden salad
Chocolate ice cream for the guys

5. Let me drag down the average. Ham and swiss roll ups

Popcorn.

Really awesome Amish-made cheesecake with sour cream on top.

Gin (Monkey 47) and diet tonic.

6. Ham, potato, and cheese casserole

It’s like au gratin potatoes layered with ham. Also have sautéed, diced onions and mushrooms in there, and sautéed spinach.

Fresh tomatoes from the garden on the side! 🍅

I can pack the leftovers for lunch all week.

8. I am in the mood for Chinese. But I made lemon garlic pasta...used Jovial

brown rice Tagliatelle( love this pasta)-fresh garlic, lemon, egg yolks (like Carbonara) nutritional yeast instead of Parmesan as I can't do dairy. (so unfair to have to avoid gluten and dairy). and had a fresh fruit salad ...for dessert ginger snaps and a latte.

10. Birthday dinner!

The Landlady(!) and my son made surf and turf of fresh boiled lobsters and filet mignons.

She made homemade creamed spinach and corn on the cob.

For dessert, we had a chocolate mousse birthday cake.

I’m a lucky 62-year old.

12. Roasted garlic butter chicken and blue cheese potato salad.

Tomorrow will be bean burritos with a lot of chopped veggies and my home grown Serrano peppers.

13. Southern Comfort:

Roasted chicken leg, homemade (White Lily) biscuits, collard and turnips with smoked ham hocks. (Gotta have biscuits for the pot likker.)

14. i made my kim/tiffany chicken. good seasons italian dressing mix sprinkled on chciken filet fried in

butter. forgot why uncle called it that, but after his name for my step-monster.steamed butter beans + a cherry rhubarb tart later.
