2. I love p.b. fudge. My mother always made the best.

Since she has passed I make fudge that is almost as good as hers. Nothing is ever as good as moms.

6. Here's one (it was my grandmother's recipe...

...which was handed down to my mom and then to me)

MEASURE OUT YOUR INGREDIENTS BEFORE YOU START!!! (once your sugar mixture comes to temp, you do not have time to measure stuff out at that point).


greased 9X13 dish

3 cups sugar
1 cup milk
dash of salt

stir together in saucepan, then cook over medium heat--without stirring--until mixture reaches one notch above "soft ball" stage on candy thermometer.

Remove from heat and add:

3 tbsp. butter
1 cup marshmallow fluff
1 cup peanut butter (creamy or smooth--your preference)
1 tsp. vanilla extract

stir until fully combined

pour into greased dish and allow to set completely
