I love reading in here, thank you all. I live in the cold damp corner of the US and

the garden sucks this yr. Beans have stalled at 1 1/2 inches. Slugs and deer abound. (Well, slugs crawl and deer bound). We are a good month behind where we should be and it looks like it'll be one of those yrs we get a cup of strawberries mid-July and struggle to keep the small amount of grass mown.

grumble grumble

Please keep posting pictures as I love to see them, here where perennials get a year to get their root growth on.

Its just your turn at the bad luck with cold and wet. We are getting hot and dry this year, after warm to hot and wet last year.

Deer, however, abound everywhere.
