It was very easy to grow, however, I never tried drying it or using it for sweetener.

Good luck!

It is a perennial in the Piedmont area of the Southeast. The two year old plants are about 12"-18" tall and are spaced about 8" apart. They are very upright and easy to grow. I planted small plants from 6 packs. Be sure to water, water, water for the first season in order to establish it.

It's very sweet. I've chewed the leaves. It's very nice to use mint leaves and crushed stevia leaves in a glass of iced tea!
