Lychnis/Rose Campion

I'm so aggravated! This is one of my favorite flowers--the hot pink ones on silver stems. I've planted from seed the last two years, and gotten nothing (thanks Swallowtail Seeds

Can't find the plants themselves anywhere locally, and afraid of having plants shipped. I had tons on them in my CA garden. Someone had shared the originals with me.

Most of the places I've seen online have reviews of poor germination. Does anyone have decent seed they will sell, or knows a good place to buy? Or plants?

Annie's Annuals at the Dave's Garden link usually gets rave reviews.

My mother gave me several of her Rose Campion last year and I managed not to kill them (newbie gardener ).

I really fell in love with Rose Campion so I hope you find what you're looking for. They seem pretty tough so maybe getting them online would be OK.

Other favorites I had tons of in CA, that I can't seem to get going here: Foxglove, columbine, big daisies, little asters, lambs ear, tuberose, calla lilies. They came back stronger every year. The easiest flowers in the world to grow! I have a huge flower garden here as well, filled with all kinds of other plants. I'm a life-long gardener, descended from other life-long gardeners. I have amended the clay soil here to where now its pretty good.

I just don't get it. I've spent way too much money on seed from various sources that does not come up.
