Michigan: kitty with frozen paws expected to recover

A cat, thought to be abandoned by his family, was found on the porch of a Michigan home with his two front paws frozen to the ground and bleeding. He has serious damage to his feet and is thought to be in a lot of pain.
Fortunately with some time to heal he is expected to make a full recovery. The Animal control officer involved named him Flick after the character of the same name in the film A Christmas Story who got his tongue stuck to a frozen pole.
