Update on Princess Peanut AKA Pretty Paws

She was diagnosed in January with Degenerative Myleopathy. She got the steroids as the vet prescribed and has rallied. She has had a not so good days, the bedroom rug will need to be replaced, but mostly she will steal the cats food if she can, enjoys her cottage cheese and likes to sit in the sun when we can. Life is still pretty good for her and I.

to steal cat food!

We have an elderly cat, Amos, who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. He went blind all of a sudden about a month ago. The vets said that prednisone could reduce the swelling and give him a bit more time. We decided to go with it because he has always been such a happy cat. After being on steroid for a week, his eyesight was restored and he is back to his old self. Of course we are thrilled, but we know it won't last forever. He is such a sweetheart and seems to enjoy so many things (food, brushing, petting, food, purring, sunshine, sleeping, food, interacting with his hoomins!) so we're giving him meds twice a day with a bit of wet catfood and he is a very happy kitty.

Bless you for keeping it going for yourself and your Princess.
