Mollie

So here are picks of my 3 babies. I started giving background in this link

https://www.democraticunderground.com/1018959571|

Now I wanted to introduce them slowly but with Mollie so keen on exploring and Hubby saying they have to get use to each other I figure I would be okay.

+ the Rescue center said they should be okay they had been housed together in Feb. Manny is up stairs and exploring more but he is hissing at her a little. He also again let me pet him while I fed him chicken.

I don't want to take a huge step backwards on any bonding.

I also had a huge break through with Brooklyn. Usually when he hides I can't coach him out BUT this morning I used a chicken trail to get him to come out. He won't come near me BUT for him to do that was huge.

I just want this to all work out.

If after they find and claim their areas and settle in after a month. Just leave food where they can find it and provide litter boxes. They have just been plopped in a new setting and that's a lot of new cats

When we moved from Kentucky to Missouri, I had to go out a month before the rest of the clan (due to house closings). I took the RV and the 3 cats who had lived with us for 8-9 years since they were kittens. They found somewhere to hide in the RV and I literally did not see them for almost 4 weeks.

So, don't panic yet. Give them time to adjust to their new circumstances.

been living in the woods behind our home. It took about 3 weeks of feeding him outside (food left in a bowl) before a deep winter storm forced him to let me pick him up and bring him in the basement. He was so feral that he couldn't let a human around him and he lived in the basement for about 2 weeks. One night he started crying and the next morning I led him upstairs and he hid under furniture for about another week while our cat Picasso stared at him in a menacing way.

3 years later, he is now letting me pick him up and hold him and pet him. He and Picasso are the best friends. Picasso "holds" the door for him, i.e., won't come in until Picabo gets to the door. They sleep together, nose to nose or nestled together. They are the best of friends.

Your little fur babies will grow to be great friends too. And if not, they will have fun tormenting each other.

All of my cats have been rescues. I simply leave them alone. Early on, I would worry and worry and worry. One day my husband told me to just leave them alone. Guess what, it worked. Animals have a wonderful ability to figure it out. Millie, found wandering the streets of Las Vegas, would slap and hiss the other dogs and cats. She still does not like them but tolerates them. Even snuggles with the Golden. India came to the house after living the first five years of her life inside a house with a reclusive elderly woman. India had never really been exposed to other animals or people. She spent the fist few months on top of our bookcases. One day there she was on the floor with the others. Rebecca was nine years old when I adopted her. I brought her home, opened the front door, she walked in saw the other dogs and cats gave them a look and proceeded to become head of the house (thank you Rebecca). I could go on but you get my drift. Have some faith in your friends, they will figure it out. Most likely much better than we can.

Mollie is SOOO small. I would guess she was 6 months not a year. Compared to Manny and Brooks
