Then she races over for cuddles. Young cats, I'd forgotten how vigorous they can be. 😀😸😸

Sometimes, I only get a couple of paws before they get mad. I let em go, they'll be back for another nap.

On the other hand, I have scars all over my arms from trying to bathe cats. The last time I did it to a cat with long claws, I ended up with the cat hooked on my arm with his claws through my skin like fishhooks.

Good luck.

Dixie will sleep on/with me, her sister Shaw is really channeling her feral parents, and would prefer to observe me from a distance. I do have cardboard scratchers& catnip.

If you can't get the whole uniform, falconers' gloves are better than nothing.

I don't cut their back paw claws anymore though. Most problems occur with the front paws.

I want her to get used to touch. Her sisfur, Shaw, really isn't a cuddly cat. I trimmed her rt front paw, I was wearing 2 longsleve sweatshirts as I clipped.
When Dixie was getting trimmed, she was growling, Shaw raced over to check on Dixie, that is how I managed to catch Shaw to trim her front paw.
Oy!
