Anyone know anything about fund raisers for the animals impacted by the Nor Cal fires?

For immediate needs or to raise funds or pay pet deposits on apartments? Thanks

1. Try this article...

https://www.kqed.org/news/11622307/how-to-help-animals-affected-by-northern-california-wildfires

Two Facebook resource groups, Napa/Sonoma Fires Animal Evacuations and Solano County Horse/Livestock Fire Evacuation Help Page, have become resource hubs for donation information, volunteer recruitment and pet-owner reunification.

2. Here's an article from a Lake County online newspaper:

http://www.lakeconews.com/index.php/news/57183-aspca-assists-lake-county-animal-care-and-control-in-rescuing-sheltering-animals-displaced-by-fires

It contains some good info about what is being done and there's a phone number in the article where you may be able to get more specific information.

We are currently evacuated, but we have our dogs with us and are staying with relatives. Lake County has a very good network of volunteers that rescue and care for animals during emergencies. Perhaps someone at the phone number in the article can tell you how to get donations to them. Thank you very much for your concern. Animals, and not just cats and dogs, but horses, goats, rabbits, chickens, etc. are abundant in areas of Lake County and are a big part of the effort to manage an evacuation and temporary residence situation.
