A tribute to all the wonderful orange tabby toms of the world, like my dear passed Thompson. ❤

3. Historic Cat Photos on International Cat Day

Earlier this century, the International Fund for Animal Welfare declared August 8 to be International Cat Day, a day set aside to celebrate our feline friends, which apparently just canít get enough attention. To honor this day, Iíve gathered a small collection of archival images of cats and kittens below. Fashions and technologies may change over time, but cats never go out of style.

5. Keenly interested in this amazing vintage photos. Proof is there that cats are truly timeless.

Love the photo of the woman who sported a long-hair cat on her left shoulder. No well-dressed woman should ever leave home without one is a lesson she learned so long ago.

Thank you.

4. Starry Night is much more memorable with an orange tigerish kitteh in it.

I'll bet Van Gogh could just kick himself for not thinking of it himself.

Thanks for the improved Starry Night!
