Sophie Stinky Toes is such a great help, when it comes to changing sheets.

But I can't blame her. These are my fancy, high thread count Egyptian cotton sheets. My sister bought the for my aunt, but she refused to used them because they were MAROON!!!

So, they ended up in my linen closet. And they are Sophie approved.

Cats were revered in ancient Egypt, and they even had a cat goddess -- Bastet -- who was the goddess of the home, domesticity, women's secrets, cats, fertility, and childbirth.

Of course she approves!

Maybe she thought I'd be struggling enough, going through THAT process.

I used to be a Siamese only gal (I had a lilac point for 19 years, and then a choclate point for 17 years- both mixes and rescues). But after my last one Mina passed, I couldn't find another at the rescue.

Instead, I found (or he found me) a wonderful 9 month Tuxedo ... and I love his personality! He reminds me a lot of my very beloved lilac tip in that way.

At any rate, I have now been saying Tuxedo's are the best! I love their personalities. My new boy loves helping me with sheets too, in fact, I think I have the exact same type as you have in the photo.

She is a rescue from a drug addict teacher/hoarder's home. The first thing she did, once she settled in, was to S-T-R-E-T-C-H out and pull herself across the carpet. She'd never had the space to do that, before.

I rescued her, and when things started going bad with family illnesses and deaths, she rescued me, in return. Even now she's what's keeping me sane in self-isolation. All in all it's a pretty good relationship.

His name is Stormy (he has white lightening across his nose, along with the other typical tuxedo white/black markings)

Anyway, the thing he does that I love the most is he wants to crawl up under the blankets with me, and drapes his body across mine (feet hanging down on both sides), he will lie like that for hours. When I'm feeling down or stressed (a lot lately), it just cheers me right up. My other cats never ever wanted under the covers.
