They were nowhere to be seen when I popped out for a smoke. When I tried to get back into My Spot, Leo made a big production of stretching out even more in front of the pillows. Pooper is cool, that is Her Spot on the back pillow. She likes to nest in my hair.

After I gently relocated Leo to the side and got comfortably settled back in My Spot, both waited about 30 seconds then got up and left. Of course.

Cats, man.

Mondays are lounging, snacking, and snuggling day because I work 12 hour days every Sat and Sun. The cats vacillate between hanging all over me and pointedly ignoring me.


Oh, and I also busted that little fool Leo bringing his food to the bed today. Whole pieces of dry food. He hopped up and gently spit a piece out. Ok. Then, I found another one. Then, I flipped the blanket back on his side of the bed and found a little pile. It was definitely fresh food, not puke. I guess since I snack in bed on Lounge Day, he thought he would, too.

I’ve been wondering why the sheets keep feeling sandy and annoyed about having to change them so often lately (I despise changing the sheets, my least favorite bit of housework).
