Got my foster kittens fixed yesterday

My foster kittens got fixed yesterday—a boy and a girl, done later than usual at five months because of health issues. Instructions are to keep them separated and quiet to recover. Separated I can manage, but I’m watching our little girl zooming around the bathroom she’s confined in, jumping on the windowsill, in and out of the bathtub, and assaulting the toilet paper. Little boy is carousing in another bathroom. So much for quiet healing time.

With mine, I think the pain meds had her feeling a little too chipper right after. brewens Aug 2021 #2

By the next morning, I think the soreness slowed her down, so I wasn't so worried.

I was kinda happy when he turned into a fat, lazy cat just sightly more animated than a couch pillow.

I have two males and a female. I gave the males 3 beds so selecting which bed at any time is about the max for their stamina. The female still has regular zoomies.
