Related: About this forumGot an photo and an update on Cinder and Smoke, from their mom, at about 2:30 this morning.
She said the biggest issue was keeping them from jumping around and wrestling with each other, which is an activity strictly on the 'no' list, post surgery. SO, she was on 'night watch'. By this time they had settled down. She's SUCH a great mom!!

(57,073 posts)Poor babies wearing cones of shame.
Although, to a kitty, the cone might just bring on more curiosity & hyper zoomies.
How long until they are free of the cones?
Ty for the update!

(26,250 posts)She stopped by for a visit the very first day I brought the 4 kittens into the house. The INSTANT she saw Cinder, she fell in love. Every time she came over, she'd pick him up and not put him down until she left. We convinced her that it would be really good for him to have one of his siblings as a companion, so she chose Smoke (who I called Gwenllian). She said she's so glad she listened to us because the two of them are just a joy.
Honestly, the whole situation was like it was pre-ordained.
