Related: About this forumI gave the kittens a snack of some plain pate - no slurry - just to see how they'd do
- and they chowed down! So, more pate in their 11pm feeding. Well, and going forward.
Gryff was out in the hallway so I picked up Bronwyn and held her out for him to see. All of a sudden he started doing rollies. Now, I'm not sure if he was telling Bronwyn he can't wait to play with her OR if he was trying to convince me that he's still a cute kitten, too.

(26,177 posts)I was just thinking, today, that in the past 9 months I've taken in and socialized 8 feral kittens and adopted one abandoned kitten. Something I never, ever saw myself doing. It's one of the most fun and rewarding things I've ever done.
And I hope that sharing this journey and pictures with people gives them a break from the chaotic state of the world.

know how much I look forward to your posts about your kittens. It gives me a little respite from whats going on in the world today. Thank you!

(26,177 posts)Caring for these angels has done so much to ease my anxiety problems. No matter how clenched my teeth may be, just the sight of them running up to greet me never fails to make me smile, take a deep breath and relax.

(26,177 posts)Same with stimulating them to help them eliminate. I was SO nervous because I just stumbled upon them so I had no time to get my research done, no supplies were at hand so I had no preparation, at all. Most importantly, I'd never raised kittens, before.
I'm no pro, by any means, but I am so much more comfortable and confident with these four sugar fluffs.

(26,177 posts)He has been extra needy of affection, lately. Especially when I'm trying to fall asleep. But, that's OK. If I stress, he'll stress and that's no good for anyone.
