Interesting they have no sense of smell. Dogs get so much information from scent.
But cats must get information in another way.

(3,406 posts)their scent on us. My fur babies hate the smell of citrus. I bought a natural formula orange oil cleaner a while back, and they would run if they saw the bottle. We got rid if it in a hurry.

Cats have 200 million scent receptors in their nasal cavity. Most breeds of dogs dont have even close to that number. Your cats sense of smell guides her to prey, tells her if food is edible or toxic, tells her where youve been, and even helps her find her home if she gets lost.
