I think my cat is a candidate for Feline Hyperesthesia
I got her as a rescue. Her tail is bobbed from chewing on it she has the symptoms. It comes and goes seems to be more predominate in the winter. She's growling at her ass as we speak. She's very docile when I go to her. Her back quarters are sensitive. I'm concerned, it seems to be increasing. Can't just take her to the vet willy nilly... don't know quite what to do. Anybody out there have any experience with this?
