the homeowner should have called the cops and not entered his home. He easily could be the one in the hospital.

Derringer vs shotgun is a bad place to be.

House clearing is a team sport. Call the cops and let them do it.

You're going to tell your story to the police,'" said McRae. "That's when he charged me and that's when I bam!"

I bam..........whatever that means. LOL

.. another difference between gun control advocates & pro gun crowd - when we post a story about guns killing or wounding people or causing harm, we're generally shocked dismayed or horrified.
.. when pro gunners relate a gun killing or wounding as per defensive gun used above, they tend to be PROUD of it.

Antigun posters post only reports of victims getting shot. Both the progun and antigun folks agree victims getting shot is a bad thing.

Progun posters post reports of victims defending themselves or others. The progun folks see this as a good thing. Some of the antigun folks see this as a bad thing.

Think about it for a second.

In examples where a pro-control (we?) story is posted, invariably there is an innocent victim, and they have lost.

Some of us innately cheer a victim or prospective victim, that wins. That guy won. Had he lost, there wouldn't be anything funny or even positive about it at all.
