.. another difference between gun control advocates & pro gun crowd - when we post a story about guns killing or wounding people or causing harm, we're generally shocked dismayed or horrified.
.. when pro gunners relate a gun killing or wounding as per defensive gun used above, they tend to be PROUD of it.

Progun posters post reports of victims defending themselves or others. The progun folks see this as a good thing. Some of the antigun folks see this as a bad thing.

In examples where a pro-control (we?) story is posted, invariably there is an innocent victim, and they have lost.
Some of us innately cheer a victim or prospective victim, that wins. That guy won. Had he lost, there wouldn't be anything funny or even positive about it at all.
