A little good news from outside our Border...

http://www.trinidadexpress.com/news/Intruder_killed_while_trying_to_rob_pharmacist-138017768.html

AN INTRUDER was shot and killed when he attempted to rob a pharmacist at his home in Chaguanas on Monday night.

The man demanded valuables, and Sobie drew his licensed firearm. Sobie told police the man raised his cutlass to attack him and he fired a shot, hitting him in the chest.

I wonder how easy it is to get a license, and the cost of a SD firearm in Trinidad.

Only 0.86% of the population is licensed to own firearms, an extremely low rate. At a quick glance, their laws look to be quite restrictive.
