A good day in CT

For gun owners and private sector union workers...

650 (I'm told) Colt workers are testifying in Hartford today.
We have many pro-gun AND pro-union legislators.

It is rare that gun people and unions are on the same side here.

I am hoping that most of these crazy gun proposals will fail after today.

but, but, but some of these people are Democrats!!! How can this be true?!?! I thought ALL pro gun people were far right, religious, nut job Republicans!

Actually ALL of the ones I am referring to are Democrats.
Repubs don't really get much respect here...
The gov is a Dem as is 2/3 of the Legislature.

If anything too restrictive passes, I think you won't see many of these faces in 2 years.
Clearly pro-rights folks outnumber the others.
