1) He advocates for the less-than-sensible "warning shot"........

2) By his own admission, the inability to pull off more than one shot (rapidly) is a huge disadvantage to a firearm.........

3) I have to wonder what would happen if you ended up in court after shooting an intruder with one of these -- wouldn't like facing that scenario!

I have read that the German police tend to do that.

Here? I wouldn't worry about it. His native Germany on the other hand..........

I used to watch Sea Hunt and know you (or at least the stunt double) can dodge a spear.

Which, when seen as an industry, is becoming huge, esp. in "gun-control" Europe. Even traditional firearms manufacturers like Sig Sauer are getting into the act. It ain't your Daisy lever gun anymore. Some models are quite capable of killing big game.

there was a guy that got a rare bison permit, and did it with an air rifle. I use an air gun to shoot in the back yard.

for plinking, small game, or just keeping up on the basics, air guns are under rated.

Not so much with regards performance and technology, but with a bigger question in mind: What is the practical future of "gun control" strategies when advanced designs ream out the very notion of "firearms?" Does anyone expect laser technology to freeze? Will wireless tasers supplant Guns as a SD choice? Will Jane Fonda's blowdryer become something more than a bad movie prop joke?

It's going to happen.
