http://www.therepublic.com/view/story/cc455e81691849189fb6f34c964066b5/FL--Fatal-Shooting-Legally-JustifiedBARTOW, Fla. Prosecutors say a man was legally justified when he fatally shot a 40-year-old man who barged into his Winter Haven home.
The Polk County State Attorney's Office on Tuesday announced that William Cornwell won't face charges in the May 27 death of Christopher Deese. It's the second time prosecutors have found Cornwell justified in using deadly force.
The Ledger of Lakeland (http://bit.ly/NVA9n3 ) reports Cornwell shot someone who was breaking into his home in 2009. That person survived and was later sent to prison.
Authorities say Deese was intoxicated and likely trying to find his girlfriend's house when he started beating and kicking Cornwell's door about 4 a.m. Cornwell grabbed his gun and confronted Deese at the door while his wife called 911. He fired when Deese charged at him.

Sometimes lightning strikes twice in the same spot. Being drunk and agressive is not an excuse. Details at: http://bit.ly/NVA9n3

it does make me sad to think he got killed for that mistake.

not a mistake.
If he'd been killed because he got drunk and sat down behind the wheel of a car people would say he was a monster who deserved it.
