An OH homeowner, who is confined to a wheelchair after being paralyzed in a car accident, found himself staring down the barrel of a shotgun that a home invader had aimed at him. Fortunately the homeowner was also armed.

Just like my husband with his gun in every room, except the bathroom. What if he is on the John when a burglar breaks in? Or what if he wakes up in bed with a barrel in his face while the gun is in the nightstand?

We, and ME, are always hearing these people being SAVED by a gun. Do we EVER hear of the person themselves getting shot? Of course not, because that would defeat their agenda: if everyone owned/carried guns, we would be safe.

Personally, I prefered the post about the old lady and the mangoes!!!!

The fact is we're always asked for "proof" that defensive gun use actually happens.

Then when we do post said proof, we get posts like yours "Well what happens when someone gets shot?"

No amount of evidence will convince those who are already opposed to guns in the home for self-defense, that defensive gun use in the home is legitimate, because their minds are already made up.

And we have plenty of "drive-by posters" who post "X shot Y, the NRA sucks, guns suck, gun owners suck" etc, etc, etc.
