three neighbors have learned the joy of good air rifles from me

I like to plink targets with my gamo 1600 (won't use the 2000 in town)but the supersonic boom makes it sound like a .22 which is illegal to shoot in town.It has...to say the least...garnered attention
I've had three neighbors who are shooters check out what I was shooting while practicing and all three are now air rifle enthusiasts,two of whom regularly come over and plink with me now into my pellet trap.

These high quality air rifles are fun and I highly recommend them to anyone who likes to plink but is in city limits...they are a shitload of fun on the cheap

1. I picked up a couple of Daisy M853's from CMP

when they were selling used ones cheap.

Yes, they're fun, and reasonably accurate. Plus, I can shoot in the basement when it's cold and snowy.

What's the muzzle velocity of the gamo 1600?

much like my 2,000 is ...ummm 2,000 fps


On edit:couldn't find a whisper 1600 for sale to show you but this is real close and 1650
